RPM's and Gearing for a stock VLX600
	These figures are as tested on a stock-geared 2002 Black VLX600, so your results may vary but it should give you an idea of what's what when rolling-on the throttle. Naturally if you have one of our tachometer kits (click here for more information) then this page will be little more than just a passing interest. These figures are approximate and have NOT been calculated from the gear-ratios but rather taken from actuall down-the-road riding. We have rounded the figures where needed.

	We have found that in these gears the Speedometer indicates the following. Gear Speedometer RPM's 1 20 3000 2 30 3000 3 42 3000 4 60 3000
	Using these figures you can calculate the RPM's for any speedometer reading. Gear Speedometer RPM's 1 7 1000 2 10 1000 3 14 1000 4 20 1000
